This book was the source of much inspiration for my back-tack project. Perhaps Kat or Camilla could let us know what is going on here? A Japanese designer’s take on the Swedish aesthetic? Or a Swedish designer’s interpretation of the Japanese?
My main question: where does the bagel fit into all this?

ReplyDeleteHi - my Swedish is not so great, but my husband is one so I'll give it a go. The bagel is actually hard bread - kind of like round ryvita but better. You can get it at Ikea here actually, and it's worth it. The next is "tin with anchovies", so I guess it's just a little food theme going on. Looks like a gorgeous book! Good luck with the garden by the way.

ReplyDeleteI found your site through your bt bag. It's gorgeous. Your questions about blogging were interesting. I am amazed at how good some people get their blogs to look. I started on blogger and typepad at the same time because typepad give you the first month free. I wasn't really planning on staying there, but it was so much easier. Just adding links to your sidebar is really easy. I couldn't get my photos in the right order on blogger or get them side by side. You can have fun changing the size of your photos on typepad. I wish I had someone at home that could help too. I like your site and I'll be coming back to visit.

ReplyDeleteYes I can. It's like "bel" says. It's hard bread and a tin with anchovies. for me as a swede, this looks so strange, and exotic even to me :)
